This is normal. The fish has always kept the money.
Every trade of the coin pays 2.70% of volume
to the 150 fish, in USDG.
Then it's time to find a new portfolio.
There are one hundred and fifty fish. Each one was painted by hand.
Every trade of the paired coin withholds 2.70% of volume, in USDG, a dollar stablecoin.
That money splits across all one hundred and fifty fish by order. The rarer orders take more. No fish takes nothing.
There is no function in the contract that lets the developer withdraw holder money. This was not an oversight and it cannot be added later.

every fish · its office · its order · what it is owed

Every one of them is rare. There is no common fish. There is no uncommon fish. We were offered several and we declined.
Each fish takes the same share of every trade — 0.6667% of the fee, one hundred and fifty ways, forever. No fish outranks another. An uncle does not rank his nephews.
An uncle is a POSITION. You do not have an uncle. You hold multiple uncles, and you hold them at a cost basis. The fish is an uncle you can price.
Uncles are mined, not appointed. Uncles are counted, not consulted. Your only responsibility is to feed it.
There is no staking. There is no roadmap. There are no utility tiers, no levelling, no breeding, and no second collection. The composition is locked on purpose — all one hundred and fifty are chest-up, front-facing. What varies is the office, and the office is the whole point.
The payout is triggered by a program we run. It cannot take the money — it can only move it to holders, and anyone else may trigger it instead. Fees become claimable only after Pons sweeps them, and Pons controls that timing. Pons can also redirect the fee recipient on three days' public notice.
USDG is issued by Paxos, not by Robinhood. Paxos can freeze or destroy a balance. We are not going to call this trustless, because it is not.
The joke is Invest In Rare Fish / Multiple Uncles. It began as Instagram image macros posted by @entrapranure on 27 April 2021, and spread widely in April 2022. Asian arowana genuinely sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars and are genuinely treated as investments, which is why the joke works at all. This project is an unaffiliated homage.
